Halifax Academy Lady Vikings softball team defeated Oakwood 18-6 Friday afternoon at home.

At the plate for Halifax:

Ashton Garner hit a home run and had 3 RBI’s

Ashlynn Liles had 1 single, 1 double, and 5 RBI’s,

Morgan Hudomint hit 3 singles,

Berkley Garner hit a double and had 1 RBI,

Hayden Barlow hit a triple with 2 RBI’s,

Tara Simmons hit a single with 1 RBI,

Ashton Knight hit a single and Ella Howell had 1 RBI

Berkley Garner pitched 1st inning for the Lady Vikings allowing 3 hits, 2 K’s, 1 walk and Ashlyn Cooke pitched the remainder of the 5 innings with 6 K’s allowing 3 hits
