The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings softball team held their annual softball tournament Saturday on Newsome Fields at Chockeyotte Park in Roanoke Rapids.

The host team, Lady Vikings wore pink jerserys in honor of Breast Cancer Awaerness. The tournament was a round robin play with Halifax Academy, Brunswick Academy, Southampton Academy, Roanoke Rapids, Virginia Homeschool and John Paul II Catholic each played two games.

Halifax Academy tied Southampton Academy 5-5

Virginia Homeschool beat Halifax Academy 8-1

Brunswick Academy beat John Paull II Catholic 18-2

Virginia Homeschool beat Roanoke Rapids 5-2
