The Roanoke Rapids High School Lady Yellow Jackets soccer team advance to the 2nd round of the 2A NCHSAA State Womens Soccer Championship.

#5 seed Roanoke Rapids Ladies shutout the #19 seed Ladies from South Columbus 6-0. 

Jackets Casey Neal led the team with her HatTrick three goals, while Kamdyn Jean scored two goals and Avery Qualls scored one goal.

Jackets with assist were: Kara Baird 2, Kamdyn Jean 1, Jillian Ott 1

Lady Jackets goalies Shaniah Daniels had 6 saves and Amber Milan had 2 saves in goal
 
The #5 seed Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets will host #12 seed  Franklin Academy on Thursday May 18 at home
