Jackets Cross Country coach Aubrey Coker stated, "I am very proud of our group of runners.  They ran in 100 degree weather last week to a 60 degree and raining meet this week.  They adapted well to the conditions and many of them improved their times by several minutes.  The team is working hard at practice and it is showing in the meets.  The Lady Jackets ran a great race this meet and are leading the Conference at this time.  The Jacket Men are sitting 3rd in the Conference close behind Louisburg for the 2nd Place Spot.  We will keep working hard and continue to be strong competitors at the last 2 meets preparing ourselves for Regionals.
