The NCHSAA has released the 2018-19 High School Football State championship brackets and seeding. Several local teams have made the field and several are even hosting Friday November 16th's first round with a 7:30PM kickoff.

1A EAST High School Football Playoff First Round Pairings

#1 Northampton County  (10-1) has a BYE

#8 Weldon (6-4) will host #9 Washington County (3-7)

#11 Sout heart Halifax (4-7) will travel to #6 South Creek (7-4) .

2AA EAST High School Football Playoff First Round Pairing

#8 Roanije Rapids  (7-4) will host #9 East Duplin (7-3)
