The Gaston College Prep (GCP) Middle School football team defeated Conway Middle School 30-14 Wednesday afternoon.
GCP Offense Stats:
Offense was led by Jayden (Turbo) Whidbee who had 15 carries for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had touchdown runs of 4 and 51 yards.
Jaylin (Speedy) Lashley had 13 carries for 65 yards.
Dhananjay Sykes had 6 carries for 30 yards.
Jaylan Burchette had 2 two point conversions.
Erick Rogers had 1 two point conversion.
Dhananjay Sykes completed 2 of 5 passing for 31 yards and 1 touchdown.
Jaylan Burchette had 1 reception for 26 yards and a touchdown.
Ja’Cari Jones had 1 reception for 5 yards.
