The Halifax/Northampton Midget Football League held it's 2019 seasson kickoff jamboree this past Saturday at Chaloner Middle school field.

The youth league is made up of teams from Halifax and Northampton County and new this season Warren County will add a varsity team.

In this past Saturdays jamboree only Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets and Jackson Pirates JV teams attended while in the Varsity division Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets, Jackson Pirates, Weldon Chargers and Gaston Buckeyes attended.

The League JV division season games kickoff September 7th whie the Varsity division kick-off is September 3rd.
