Gaston College Prep Middle School defeated Gaston Middle School 42-0 Wednesday afternoon.

GCP's Offensive was led by Jayden Whidbee who had 3 carries for 109 yards and a touchdown run of 85 yards and one 2 point conversion. Andrew Faulcan had 5 carries for 52 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had touchdowns runs of 5 and 6 yards. Dhananjay Sykes had 6 carries for 51 yards and one 2 point conversion. Jaylin Lashley had 1 carry for 2 yards and 1 touchdown along with one 2 point conversion. Jaylan Burchette had one 2 point conversion.

GCP's Special teams was led by Jayden Whidbee who had 1 kickoff return for a 71 yard touchdown run. Chaika Hines had 1 kickoff return for 23 yards. Dhananjay Sykes had 2 punt returns for 8 yards.

GCP's Defense was led by Travis Robinson with 2 pass deflections and 3 tackles. Jayden Whidbee had 3 tackles. Chaim Hines had 3 tackles. Jaylan Burchette had 3 tackles and 1 fumble recovery. Kamari Deloatch had 3 tackles.

GCO's Defense also produced 2 safeties.
