This pass week, the Chaloner Middle School Yellow Jackets baseball team picked up two more wins to bring their record to 3-0.

The Chaloner Jackets defeated a tough Bear Grass team 6 to 3.

Jon Lewis Temple broke open a scoreless game in the top of the fourth with an inside the park homerun. He also knocked in a run in the fifth with a triple. Austin Geary had 3 hits including a triple. Matthew MacNichol had 2 hits including a triple and a RBI. Braxton Hammack had 2 hits including a double and a RBI. Davis Liverman had a single and an RBI.

Braxton Coggins pitched an excellent game and was the winning pitcher. He gave up no runs and only 1 hit in 5 innings of pitching. He struck out 10 batters. Brayden Mills pitched 1 and 2/3 innings (giving up just 2 hits.) However, the Bears of Bear Grass scored 3 unearned runs in the 7th. Drew Williams came to retire the final batter to get the save. Mills and Williams each batted a single to help the Jackets offense.

The Chaloner Jackets picked up another win against Bunn defeated them 12 to 2.

Jon Lewis Temple opened the Jackets scoring with a big blast at the plate (a deep inside the park homerun with 2 RBI's).  He also was intentionally walked 3 times (once with the bases loaded). Austi Geary had 3 hits including a double and a RBI. Braxton Hammack had 2  hits and 2 RBI's. Davis Liverman had a single and 3 RBI's. Matthew MacNichol had 1 hit and a RBI. Brayden Mills also added a hit.

Drew Williams was the winning picture for the Jackets. He struck a couple batters out and only gave up 2 runs. Braxton Hammack came in for relief to retire the final couple of batters.
