The Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets travel 12U Allstar baseball Team remained unbeaten this fall as they won a 1-day tournament in Richmond, VA this past weekend.
The 12U team finished the tournament with a 3-0 record, outscoring their opponents 40-13.
In the first game the Jackets scored 3 runs in the final inning to erase a 1-run deficit and win 10-8. After that point the group cruised to victories in the second game winning 19-2, and in the championship game won 11-3.
The Jackets will compete again this Sunday, 10/28 in the Richmond, VA area and complete their fall season with the Top Gun World Series in Rocky Mount 11/2-4 as they continue to prepare for the 2019 allstar season and the SE Regional Tournament in Roanoke Rapids next summer.
