After reviewing completed questionnaires and interviewing candidates, members of the Eastern Piedmont Central Labor Council, a federation of NC AFL-CIO area local unions, have voted to endorse Vershenia Ballance Moody for District 6 district court judge in the March 3 primary election.

“The Eastern Piedmont CLC is proud to endorse Judge Vershenia Ballance Moody in the March 3, 2020, primary election because Judge Moody understands what working people want — to secure a fair return on our work, provide for ourselves and our families, and enjoy life,” said Kuyzendra A. Cobb, EP CLC president and an executive board member of the United Steelworkers Local 9-0425.

Eastern Piedmont CLC affiliates commit to doing their part to educate and mobilize union members and their families in support of Judge Moody and their other endorsed candidates.
