Editor’s note: Cathy Keeter was re-elected to the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District Board of Trustees Tuesday.

First and foremost, Thank you!  

Your support means a great deal to me.  

Your words of encouragement and wisdom have meant a lot to me and gave me the strength to push forward.  

I remain committed to providing the best possible educational system for our students and staff.  I will continue to advocate for our students to have rich and meaningful educational experiences that extend far beyond test scores.  

I would also like to acknowledge Mr. Steven Ellis and his dedicated service to the district.  I respect him, his thoughtful deliberation, and wise counsel on many difficult fronts.  

Mr. Carlton Ansley, thank you for your concern and fierce desire to make our district better.  

To Mr. Jeff Kloss and Mr. Jim Whitmire, we have tremendous responsibilities ahead. 

I welcome the opportunity for meaningful, positive discussion over the next six years.
