Kathryn Patterson Mattern 68, passed away on June 7, 2024. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Morgan, father, Raymond Patterson, step father, Aubrey Morgan, former husband, Jimmy Wilson, niece, Jean Patterson Somogyi, sister in law, Paula Hux Patterson and step brother, Tommy Morgan. 

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Richard Mattern, son, Edward Wilson (Sarah), grandchild, Jamison Faith Wilson, and brothers, Gene Patterson (Linda), Phil Patterson, Donnie Patterson (Gay), Randy Patterson (Dawn), half brother, Raymond Mason (Dawn), step brother, Billy Morgan (Chris), step sisters, Phyllis Morgan and Patricia Morgan Herring, along with numerous adopted children and grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathryn enjoyed watching Mama's Family, Fox News and House Hunters. She loved to travel, go thrifting and make crafts. 

Kathryn was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader at the Church of Jesus Christ on Emry Street. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2024 at Wrenn Funeral Home from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2024 at Wrenn Funeral Home starting at 1:00pm with Pastor Timothy Dean officiating. 

Interment will follow to New Cedarwood Cemetery.
