William Haywood "Bo" Padgett, 92, died Saturday, September 22, 2018.

A native of Halifax County, Bo was born to the late John Alfred Padgett and Rosa Carter Padgett.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; John Lewis, Jesse Lee Alfred, and Joseph Stancil Padgett, a sister; Margaret Padgett Tritt, a nephew; John Lewis Padgett Jr., and a niece; Tamara Padgett Ogdon.

Bo was a longtime active member of Calvary Baptist Church, he retired as the delivery driver for Stokes Distributing Company after many years of service, and was an avid Duke fan, known to his friends and family as a "Duke A Holic".

He is survived by his three daughters; Deborah B. Archer, Lisa B. Lloyd (Kevin) of Raleigh, and Junie B. Anderson (Stephen), grandchildren; Timmy G. Archer, Katie M. Archer, Emily B. Lloyd, Erin A. Lloyd, James E. Conner, Jonathon B. Conner, Jacob B. Conner, Garrett Anderson, and Marissa Anderson, nephews, E. Cliff Tritt(Barbara), Michael Wayne Padgett, and David Lee Padgett, nieces; Dianne Tritt Hilliard(Sterling), Deborah Padgett Francis(Tommy) and Theresa Padgett Weber(William).

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the Church.
