Gloria was born in Halifax County, NC, February 13, 1941, daughter to the late Benjamin T. and Mabel Bridges Jones. 

She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Roanoke Rapids.

Surviving is her husband, Larry Neal, sons, Thomas J. Butler, III, and wife, Teresa, of Littleton, NC and Lawrence Graham Butler of Henrico, NC; daughter, Kimberly Plyler and husband, Michael, of Roanoke Rapids; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister, Annie Jones Stevens, of Keysville, VA. 

Earl Cain will conduct a service from the graveside, in Crestview Memorial Cemetery, at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 4, 2022, and the family will receive friends at Wrenn Funeral Home, Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 6pm-8pm.
