Joline Ray Matthews, 94, passed away on June 2, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Ged Ray and Pearl Brigman.
She is a mother of 4 children, and a military wife to Sgt. Major James L Matthews Jr.
She will be taken to Arlington Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James L. Matthews, Jr., daughter, Joanne Brown, brother, Gene Ray, sisters, Mariam Whitener, Shirley Brown.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, James L. Matthews III, daughters, Melody Beaver, Dr. Joy Lopez, sister, Janet Dixon, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Joline Matthews was the Financial Administrator at Mental Health for many years and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
