Felton Parker, age 92, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2021.
He is survived by many good close friends who will grieve his passing and miss his presence in their lives.
Felton was born in Weldon to James and Katie Thorn Parker where he attended Weldon High School.

After a tour in the United States Navy he attended Louisburg Junior College and received his degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1954.
He made Chapel Hill his home for many years and worked at the university hospital as a medical research assistant for physicians there.
While in college Felton danced the lead in a number of college productions and carried on his love of dance as an instructor for Arthur Murray’s Dance Studios.
He was also a sought-after model for wedding shows as the groom or father of the bride.
Upon retiring, Mr. Parker moved to Port Charlotte, FL, where he lived for many years before returning to Weldon, purchased a house on his old street and lived out the remaining years of his life.
A nine o’clock viewing is planned at Wrenn Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids on Thursday, December 30 to be followed by a short graveside service at Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon.
