Annie Virginia Hunt, 91, of Gaston, NC died Sunday November 7, 2021, at her residence, with her Family at her side.
Virginia was born in Northampton County, NC the daughter of the late Sharper and Maude Allen Jordan. She was the widow of James Edward Hunt and her four brothers, Andrew, LeRoy, Reginald and Ralph Jordan, also preceded her in death.

Virginia formerly worked as the Gaston Town Clerk and with J. P. Stevens & Co. for a number of years.
Surviving are: a daughter Geraldine H. Ferguson and her husband Stan of Gaston, NC; a sister Doris Hall of Tarboro, NC; two grandchildren, James (Jay) Ferguson of Hilo, HI, Angel Ferguson Woehr and her husband Blaine of Leesburg, VA three great grandchildren, Ava, Alana, and Allison Woehr all of Leesburg, VA.
Funeral Services will be held at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Gaston, NC at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 11, 2021, with Rev. Rick Russell, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The Family will receive at the Church one hour prior to services.
