“Pete”

Peter Franklin Johnson, 63, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, passed away May 29, 2019 at his home.

Pete was born in Emporia, VA, the son of the late Marvin and Lilly Johnson.

He was also preceded in death by his brother David Johnson and a son Christopher Johnson.

Pete spent most of his life doing mechanic work in Roanoke Rapids and Weldon.

Surviving are his son Joshua Johnson, his daughters; Crystal Johnson, and Shonda Snider and her husband Frank, three grandchildren; Destiny Snider, Tyler Snider, and J.T. Bolton, one great-grandchild; Anastasia Van Aernam, all of Roanoke Rapids, NC.  

The family would like to thank Pete’s Aunt and Uncle Dorothy and Joe Cannon for their calls and visits over the past several months.

The family is planning a Memorial Service at a later date.
