Dorothy O’Dell Pollard Johnson, 89, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Pollard and Eva Pollard, son, Arnold L. Johnson, brother, Herman Pollard and sisters, Kathleen Jones, Margie Gray, Cassie Blackman and Mildred Cox.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert W. Johnson (Myra), Lucy Dianne Prince (Billy), Susan K. Johnson and Brian K. Johnson (Angela), grandchildren, Weaver Johnson (Ashley), Brooks Anne Hazelton (Garrett), Lisa P. Jarratt (Craig) and Paul Blair Johnson, Taylor Beyer, Logan Beyer and Olivia Beard, great grandchildren, Elizabeth R. Jarratt, Olivia N. Hazelton, Virginia J. Hazelton, Kenneth R. Jarratt, Stella B. Johnson, Johnson B. Hazelton and Lailyn Grace Beyer, caregivers, Melody Smith and Jessica Merritt.

Dorothy enjoyed yardwork and flowers. She was a synchronized swimmer in high school. Dorothy enjoyed puzzles, word search books, reading and music. She also loved traveling years ago.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at New Cedarwood Cemetery with Reverend Randy Martin officiating.
