Halifax County Schools statement

Mr. Patterson impacted the lives of many and we are delighted by the overwhelming desire of the staff and the Enfield community to celebrate his life with events ranging from the school district hosting a private viewing and ceremony to community initiated activities.

Indisputably, Mr. Patterson was “star power” and under normal circumstances, we would welcome any opportunity to let the fruits of his labor shine publicly.

Unfortunately, current times are far from normal. Halifax County Schools will celebrate the life of Principal Teicher Patterson when it is appropriate.

In the spirit of safety first and saving lives, HCS will show our love and respect for Mr. Patterson through participation in services rendered by S. Jones Funerals & Cremations Inc.
