Perry Wilson Parks, Sr., 83, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount.
Perry was born September 5, 1939, in Northampton County to the late Charlie Reuben Parks and Clara Alice Wade.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Aldine C. Parks; his son Perry W. Parks, Jr.; his brother, James Williams Parks; his sisters, Ola Mae Parks Draper and Mary Elizabeth Jenkins.
Perry is survived by his son, Jeff Parks of Littleton; his grandchildren, Camden Parks and Kirklyn Parks; his brothers, Robert Michael Parks of Lexington, SC and Charles Reuben Parks, Jr. of Littleton, NC.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Roanoke Rapids First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Matthew Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
