Susan “Sue” Shearin Bullock, 62, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.
Ms. Bullock was born on June 6, 1961, in Halifax County, the daughter of the late Norman Andrew Shearin and Anne Claudette Willey Matthews.
Surviving include her sisters: Lori Robinson (Lester), Margie Esidro (Dion), Claudia Clayton, Ellen Baird (Scoot), and her half-sister Gina Barnes (Jay); her stepfather James Matthews; her fiancé Tim Betler; her 11 nieces and nephews; her 3 great nephews; her fur baby Clancy; and Tom Bullock.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and at other times at the home of James Matthews.
