Rochella Haskins Hux, 83, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Friday June 30, 2023, at her home.
Mrs. Hux was born June 12, 1940, in Edgecombe County to the late Ovid James Haskins and Lila Blanche Keeter Haskins. She is also preceded in death by her brothers William, Al, and Donald Ray Haskins; her sister Sally H. Davis
Mrs. Hux was a member of Darlington Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hux is survived by her husband Percy Ray Hux; her son Anthony “Tony” (Ginger) Hux; her daughters Cynthia June Hux and Tracy (Chad) Dahlem; her brother Gene Haskins; her sisters Brenda Jarman (Howard) Warren and Connie Haskins Spence; grandchildren Tina Lewis, Dale Ray Hux, Brandon Dean Hux, Angelica Bethany, Doss Dahlem, Jackson Dahlem; great grandchildren Seth Krasnecky, Brice Hux, Holden Hux, Brandon Anthony Hux, Austin Moss, Gunnar Hux, Camaron Lewis, Tori Lewis, Vivianna Noelle Perez; her beloved pets Diesel and Trixie; her devoted friends Shirley Askew, Betty Jones, Fran Rowland, and Edwina Bridges.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Hockaday Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Harrell officiating.
