Mr. Bobby Francis Clements, 82, died Friday morning, July 29, 2022 in his Roanoke Rapids home.

He was born in Greensville County, Virginia on March 31, 1940, the son of Jesse and Hattie Taylor Clements.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cindy Pitsenbarger; and brothers, Richard, Tom, Carter and Nat Clements.

A graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School, Bobby retired as a maintenance technician from Georgia Pacific.   

He enjoyed working on tractors, gardening and watching NASCAR, westerns and Forensic Files on television. 

Bobby is survived by his wife, Derenda Tripp Clements; sons, Michael Clements and wife Sheri, Scott Vick and wife Amy; daughters, Susan Wilhelm and husband Jeff, Lori Jones and husband Russell; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his sister, Betty Rose Byars; and his beloved dog, Bella.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.

The funeral service for Mr. Bobby Clements will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, August 1, 2022 in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service, with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
