Deborah “Debbie” Inscoe, 63, died peacefully at her home on November 12, 2018.

Debbie was born in Halifax County on November 23, 1954 to Ned J. and Mable Cullom Dickens. She loved her family and her husband, Howard.  

Holidays and being with her family brought her much joy and happiness.  

Debbie was also an amazing cook.  

She was the long-time co-owner and operator of M & M Grill in Littleton.  

She also maintained records and was the book-keeper at Inscoe Farms.  

Debbie was known as a devoted Christian and held membership at Corinth UMC.  

She was an avid sports fan of both UNC basketball and NASCAR racing.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; a daughter, Melanie Starr Inscoe; and a sister, Peggy Jane Dickens.  

Survivors include her son, Jamie Inscoe and wife, Elizabeth, of Littleton; a brother, Sammy Dickens and wife, Christine, of Littleton; grandchildren Tucker and Emma; an aunt, Anna Wayne Tritt and husband, Gene; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Thursday at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, and other times at her home.

The funeral service for Mrs. Inscoe will be held on Friday, November 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Corinth UMC with Rev. Stan Lewis presiding.  

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Corinth UMC cemetery fund.
