Mr. Obert Lewalt “Lee” Wiltsie, Sr., 83, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 in his home in Weldon.

Lee was born in Zanesville, OH on March 2, 1937, the son of Karl Wiltsie and Dorathea McGee Wiltsie, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was a US Navy veteran, and a member of Weldon Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon.  Lee was a loving husband, father and grandfather; and he also loved his community.  He owned and operated a lawn care service company.

Survivors include his wife, Desiree L. Wiltsie; sons, Robert Wiltsie, Daryl Wiltsie, Obert W. Wiltsie, Jr., Karl W. Wiltsie, III (Mary), Richard Wiltsie, John Wiltsie, David Worthington; daughters, Tara Wiltsie (Rome Fleming), April Wiltsie (Steve), Dorathea Powell (Bruce Jones), Desiree Lassiter (Chris), Mary Ann Roeseler (Erich), Kathy  (John), Debra L., Susan Massey;  brother, Karl Wiltsie; sister, Dorathea Fortner; 26 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mr. Wiltsie will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from the graveside at Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon, with Rev. Karl Wiltsie, III, presiding.
