Marcus Grant Little, Jr. 58, of Gaston passed away at his home.

Marcus was born December 2, 1961 in Pensacola, FL to the late Marcus Grant Little, Sr. and Gloria Walker Little. 

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Little; his grandson, Joshua Grant Smith and a special friend, Lynn T. Edwards.

Marcus loved his children and grandchildren. He would do anything for anybody and loved to joke and carry on with people. 

Marcus spent twenty-five years with the Department of Corrections at Caledonia Prison. He also worked at L & R Motor Company.

Marcus is survived by his children, Jessica Nicole Little (Thomas) and Marcus Alexander Little (Victoria) both of Roanoke Rapids; his brothers and sister, Donna Little Pope and Larry Dean Little (Kandi) both of Boykins and Billy Joe Little (Lisa) of Conway; his grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Jr., Kameron Little, Ja’Juan Ashe, Carson Little, Payton Griffin, Brantley Griffin and Natalie Brown; his nieces and nephews, Samantha Pope Dowd, Matt Pope, Ben Little, Crystal Anderson, Christy Little and Grant Little; a number of great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Rose Edwards Beacham, Chris and Ashley Ferrell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 21, 2020 in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow in Seaboard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the funeral home and other times at the home of his son.
