Sandra “Sandy” Woodruff Davis, 60, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her home.
Sandy was born August 26, 1959 in Halifax County to the late Preston Cooper Woodruff and Louisa Edwards Woodruff.
Sandy was a member of First Christian Church. She was always happy, loved beach music and the beach. Sandy loved her dog, Abby girl, she was like a second mom to all her children’s friends. Sandy loved her job as a nurse working with pediatrics.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Bobby Davis; her children, Mary Beth Davis and her significant other Dennis Starke of Roanoke Rapids, Lou Ann Davis and her significant other Walter Hundley of Norlina, Rob Davis and his significant other Bryanna Whitby of Roanoke Rapids and her dog, Abby Girl; her grandson of the heart, Jayden Lynch; her sister, Wendy Woodruff of Henrico and her special friend and second mom, Helen Watson.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
