Kenneth Elmer Congleton, 68, of Prince George, VA and formerly of Roanoke Rapids died Friday, December 20, 2019 at VCU Medical Center in Richmond.

Born in Hertford County, NC on July 2, 1951, Kenneth was the son of Jack and Jessie Nell Liverman Congleton.  He was a retired plumber, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Pattie Stanley Congleton; son, Kenny Congleton of Prince George, VA; daughters, Betty Jo Boswell of Raleigh and Christina Drewry of Colonial Heights, VA; sisters, Martha Congleton and Marsha Hawks; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by brothers, Timothy and Gregory; and a sister, Lynn.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10 – 10:45 am at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.  

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat presiding.  Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
