Barry Lee Parks, 49, of Roanoke Rapids died Friday, October 26, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Parks was born October 31, 1962 to Joel Ray Parks and Nettie Lou Jenkins Parks.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Parks is survived by his mother: Nettie Lou Parks of the home; son: Justin Brigman of South Hill, VA; two daughters: Christa Parks and Jessica Parks both of Roanoke Rapids; sister: Michelle Cooke and her husband Cale of Rocky Mount; three nieces and nephews: Kasey, Cody and Erin Cooke and a special friend Beverly Lewis Cooke.

A graveside service will be held 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Parks officiating.
