Clara Ann Hastie, 74 of Spruce Court died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Hastie was born November 26, 1937 in Hudson County, New Jersey to the late William Frank Richards and Dorothy Canary Richards.  She was also preceded in death by her husband: John Hastie; sister: Dorothy Traynor.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved Florida, bingo and going to flea markets.

Mrs. Hastie is survived by her son: John Hastie and his wife Kathy of Andover, NJ; daughters; Margaret Lodato and a special friend Richard, Clara “Sissy” O’Brien both of Littleton, Dorothy Coseglia and her husband Richard of High Point and Sharon Sandman and her husband Mark of Gasburg;  Grandchildren: Kimberly, Megan, Jaclyn, Timothy, Jennifer, Richard, Frank, John Michael, Christian, Amanda and Michael; great grandchildren: Landen, Alyssa, Billy, Ella, T.J., Daylana, Asani, Nathan, Matthew and Chris Jr.; brothers: Patrick William Richards and his wife Julie of Florida, Kevin Richards and his wife Angela and John Richards and his wife Annette both of New Jersey.

Funeral sevices will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday at Lake Gaston Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Stout officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Littleton.  The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Thursday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
