Clara Hope Walker, 48, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA. 

Miss Walker was born in Chapel Hill, NC, the daughter of the late Elsie Charles Walker and Robert Earl Walker.  

She is also preceded in death by her sisters Elsie Diane Jackson, and Teresa Jean Hargrave, her nieces Beth Walker and Stephanie Lynn Jackson, and her nephews David Wayne Hargrave and Daniel Clifton Hargrave. 

Surviving include her boyfriend Elton Liles, her sister Donna Couch, her brother Wiliam "Billy" Earl Walker (Melinda); her nephew Robert Lee Hargrave (Britney); and her great nephews and nieces: Autumn Hargrave, Abby Hargrave, Nathan Colbert (Katie) and Damien McLaughlin.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Chris Howerton officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 PM.
