Mabel Ellen Spence Boseman, 90 of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday October 24, 2025.  

Mabel was born on December 11, 1934, in Halifax County North Carolina. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Boseman, parents William and Annie Spence, brothers Thomas Spence and Roger Spence.

She is survived by her son Charlie “Joe” Boseman (Ann), daughter Linda Massey (Dennis) brother Bud Spence (Pat), grandchildren Travis Moseley (Nicole), Dallas Moseley, Colby Boseman, Cort Boseman, great grandchild Landen Moseley, and a very special friend and caregiver Mae Pearson.

Mabel was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend; she retired from Kennametal, she loved working in the garden, growing flowers and cutting grass. Mabel was a member of Quankie Baptist Church.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday October 29, 2025, at 2:00pm in the Quankie Baptist Church cemetery. Reverend Jerry Boyd will conduct the service.
