Rose Nell Landen, 78, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

She was born on September 14, 1944 in San Francisco, California to the late Lonnie and Rose Escabado Landen and was preceded in death by her nieces, Kim Taresco and Jennifer Dawn Landen. 

Rose was a 1962 Graduate of Weldon High School and was a member of First Christian Church in Roanoke Rapids, NC. She loved Elvis, people and reading. 

Rose is survived by her three brothers, Bunn Landen and his wife, Nancy of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Denny Landen and his wife, Dee of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Joey Landen and his wife, Lisa of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her nieces, Mellisa Nowles and her husband, Graham, Jessica Watts and her husband, Chris and Reagan Landen; her three nephews, Jason Landen and his wife, Vanessa, Steven Landen and Michael Landen and his wife, Kelly and several great nieces and nephews as well. 

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services at 6:30 PM with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
