Peggy Meeks Murfee, 81, died peacefully January 11, 2019 at Signature HealthCare of Roanoke Rapids NC.

She was born in Pitt County, NC, and was the daughter of Jo Frances Cooper.

She is survived by her loving husband Ray Murfee, daughter Mandy McLarin (John), son Harrison Murfee Jr (Jil), grandchildren Kendall Walker (John Michael), Kelsea Ward (Brian), Blair McLarin, Kayla Murfee and Harrison Murfee III, sister Norma Blalock, sister-in-law Linda Cooper, brother-in-law Gary Petree, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Peggy was often referred to as “Mrs. Clean” because of her perfection and dedication to a clean home.
