Robert Page "Bobby" Chenoweth, affectionately known as “Bobby” of Roanoke Rapids, and a former resident of Weldon, went to be with his creator our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 5th 2022 at the age of 94. 

After high school he served his country in the US Army during WWII. 

Following his service in the Army he returned to attend North Carolina State University and Mars Hill University. 

Bobby began his career in the construction industry working for Frank Rightmyer where he acquired experience in floor sanding and refinishing. 

He later became owner and operator of Chenoweth Floors sharing his skills, experience and works of art with many in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding counties.

He is predeceased by his wife Molly Louise Banty Chenoweth, wife Tempie Herbert Chenoweth and his daughter Catherine Mae Chenoweth.

He is survived by his daughter Page C. Watson and husband Gil of Roanoke Rapids, NC, their children Bert and his wife Kate and great granddaughter Evelyn of Washington, D.C., Park of Baltimore Maryland, and Robert “Buzz” Chenoweth of Warrenton NC, Martha Chenoweth of Youngsville, NC and their Children, Audra of Charlotte, NC, Cory of Durham, NC, and Davis of Youngsville, NC. 

He is also survived by his well-loved companion and family, Polly Burger of Henrico, NC and her children Sam Beale and wife Donna of Powhatan, Va and Henry Beale and Fiancé Tia Bedwell of Roanoke Rapids, NC.

The Graveside service will be held Sunday May 8th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC with Reverend Randy Martin officiating.

The Family will receive and visit with friends and loved ones following the service.
