Charlene Gray Cox, 84, of Pleasant Hill, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
She was born in Brunswick County, NC to the late Charlie Gray and Delta Cheers Gray.
Charlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Christian.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Cox; her daughter, Terri McNair and her husband, Larry of Shallotte, NC; her sons, Anthony Hewett and his wife Mary Rose of Wilmington, NC; Billy Hewett of Shallotte, NC and Jamie Stanley and his wife, Kim of Wilmington, NC; her stepsons, Daryl Cox and his wife Ellen of New York, Dan Cox and Brian Cox both of Richmond, VA; several grand and great grandchildren; and her sister, Jewell Smith of Shallotte, NC and her brother, Richard Gray and his wife, Judy of Shallotte, NC.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 2pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Micky Beatty officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm at the church on Friday.
