Mary Lois Hofmeister Emery 88, of Roanoke Rapids formerly of Tucson, Arizona died Friday at Carolina Rest Home.

Mary, a native of Elizabeth PA, was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary McCutchin Hofmeister. She was a retired LPN from the University of Arizona Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Jensen and her husband, Joe of Roanoke Rapids; two sons, Gary Emery of Phoenix, Arizona and Roger Emery and his wife, Carol of Tucson, Arizona; six grand children and six great grand children.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
