Frances “Frankie” Rightmyer Williams Dobbins 82, of Roanoke Rapids died Thursday, September 22,  at her home.

“Frankie” a native of Halifax County, was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mattie Roberts Rightmyer. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Major Ray Rightmyer. She was a life long member of Rosemary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, David Dobbins of the home; her two daughters Adrianne Mullis of Roanoke Rapids and Leigh Allman of Littleton; two sons Ray Williams and his wife Lisa of Chesapeake, Va. and Dan Williams of Roanoke Rapids;

four grandchildren, Andy Mullis, Scott Williams, Ryan Williams and Jenni Williams; her niece, Gail Cavallerro; nephews Mike Miller, Rick Rightmyer and Rob Rightmyer, all of the Richmond area; and her special devoted family friend, Mary Ann “Jonsie” Jones of Roanoke Rapids.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 24, at 11:00 A.M. at Rosemary Baptist Church with Dr Layne Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 23,  from 6:30-8:00 pm at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
