The town of Halifax is inviting participants for its annual Christmas parade.

The Christmas parade will be held November 30 at 4 p.m.

Line up will begin at 2 p.m. at the Halifax County Courthouse, 357 Ferrell Lane, Halifax.

After the parade, Santa will head to the grassy area in front of The Hen and The Hog at 16 South King Street.

Santa will help begin the Christmas season by lighting the Christmas tree. Then, he will be seated with the children where he will read them a story and sing a song with them.

Photo opportunities with Santa will be available after the story and singing.
