The Center for Energy Education is transforming its campus green to host a Father’s Day-themed community event — On Par with Purpose: Putt Putt Male Mentorship Golf Outing.
The event will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 460 Airport Road in Roanoke Rapids.

“The initiative will support and provide a festive setting to teach teamwork, communication and leadership,” the center said.
The no-cost event is open to male members of the Roanoke Valley community. Refreshments and lunch will be served at 11 a.m.
