The Halifax County Convention & Visitors Bureau honored Rosie Beatty with the 2023 Spirit of Hospitality Award.
Beatty is the front desk supervisor at the Hilton Garden Inn and has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 14 years.

“We are excited to be able to recognize employees that go above and beyond in customer service,” said Lori Medlin, president and CEO of the HCCVB. “We feel that this program will help us in our efforts to grow repeat visitation to Halifax County.”
The Spirit of Hospitality Award was created by the HCCVB to honor employees in the tourism/hospitality industry who enhance visitor experiences in Halifax County.
Individuals can be nominated in one or more of several categories, including server, hotel guest relations and retail services as well as other related categories.
Nominees must represent a lodging property, campground, restaurant, bar, attraction or retailer in Halifax County.
