As repairs continue from flooding last week at ECU North, ECU Health said there may be instances in which patient appointments need to be adjusted.

Those patients will be contacted directly.

The repairs are due to a water pipe cap failure on April 11.

The health system said the hospital remains open and operational while continuing to provide patient care with minimal impacts. 

Critical units including the emergency department, operating room, laboratory, ambulatory, radiology and others remain fully operational. 

“We remain committed to minimizing the impact to patient care as we work diligently to restore all affected areas of the hospital over the coming weeks,” ECU Health said.
