Three men arrested late last month have district court dates set next Monday following a traffic stop in Enfield which resulted in the seizure of weapons and 6.7 grams of marijuana.
Lieutenant Shane Guyant of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said Deputy D. Harrison made the stop January 27 after observing an SUV with tinting obscuring the license plate identification.
Harrison, according to Guyant, noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle after initiating the stop in the South McDaniel Street Dollar General parking lot.

Harrison talked with Donovan Tyrell Bullock, 33, of Whitakers and observed the front and rear passengers — Donnee Fruitkwan Bradley, 33, and Javonte Marquez Bradley, 31, respectively – moving around inside the vehicle.
A probable cause search revealed two AR-style rifles, a semi-automatic handgun and the marijuana inside the vehicle. One of the rifles had been reported stolen from Rocky Mount in 2020.
Bullock was charged with driving while license revoked, carrying concealed weapon, simple possession of marijuana and an equipment violation. He received a $2,000 bond.
Javonte Bradley of Whitakers was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and received a $500 bond.
Donnee Bradley was charged with felony possession of a stolen weapon and simple possession of marijuana. He received a $5,000 bond.
The relationship between the Bradleys was not immediately known.
