Hope for Hardy’s Twilight Festival was held along Roanoke Avenue Friday evening to raise awareness of organ transplants and to honor the family of the late Joseph Fahey, a Chaloner Middle School student who died in February at the age of 12.

His parents made the decision to donate his organs to save the lives of others.

Highlights of the festival included a speed-painting exhibition by Riley Mills, who in six minutes painted New Jersey firefighters hoisting the flag in the aftermath of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. The painting fetched $3,250 in an auction where Landen Morris solicited bids for the work.

The Feature Attraction band provided musical entertainment in Centennial Park.
