The ECU Health Cancer Care Center of Roanoke Rapids along with the Roanoke Valley Breast Cancer Coalition invites eligible community members without health insurance to receive free breast cancer screenings at Building 1 at ECU Health North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids. 

The event is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on October 29.

Only 20 slots are available.

Masks will be provided for all participants.

The screenings are for women 40 years of age and older with at least one year since their last mammogram.  

Screening includes a clinical breast exam and a 3D mammogram. 

Free screening eligibility is confirmed during phone registration, including age, income, and insurance requirements.
