Colby Lyles, an Edward Jones financial advisor in Roanoke Rapids, recently received the firm's Jack Phelan Award for his exceptional achievement in building client relationships and  the exclusive Century Award for outstanding performance during his first five years with the firm.

"It's an incredible honor to be recognized for the work I do, work I truly enjoy," Lyles said. "As I partner with clients to make a meaningful difference in their lives, my relationships with them continue to grow. It's a personally and professionally rewarding experience, and I am grateful to those who put their trust in me."

Said Lyles: "To receive an award named after a firm legend such as Jack Phelan makes this all the more meaningful."

The Jack Phelan award is named after an advisor who, after joining the firm in 1950, became one of the firm's first "TNT" advisors, traveling the countryside Tuesday through Thursday, bringing investment advice to rural investors and contributing to the well-being of his clients, colleagues and community.

The Edward Jones branch office business model, with more than 15,000 branches throughout North America, allows the firm’s nearly 19,000 financial advisors to identify what matters most to each individual client and create personalized strategies, with the goal of developing long−lasting relationships to help keep them on track toward their goals.

Lyles was one of only 1,039 financial advisors firmwide to receive the Century Award and one of only 1,946 financial advisors firmwide to receive the Jack Phelan Award. He was presented with the two awards at the Edward Jones regional meeting in Williamsburg.

Lyles' office is located at 933 Park Avenue in Roanoke Rapids.
