On Thursday the Center for Energy Education will be connecting more than 200 high school students with organizations in the renewable energy industry during the Clean Energy High School Career Fair.

The event starts at 10 a.m.

Participants in the energy field include Duke Energy, Strata Solar, EDF Renewables, Blue Ridge Power and Roanoke Electric. A full list of participants can be found in the gallery photo below.

“The Center for Energy Education is ecstatic about the opportunity to educate high school students about career opportunities within the renewable energy industry,” said Whitney Sessoms, the center’s workforce and education manager. “The Clean Energy High School Career Fair will also increase students’ awareness about the positive effects of clean energy on the environment.”
