The Halifax County Health Department will scale back its COVID-19 reports to a monthly basis due to the decrease in the number of new positives.
The next report is expected to be released on May 3.
Reports will be provided more frequently if the cases increase.

For its report Thursday the health department added six new positive cases which brings the total since March of 2020 to 13,918. The department also added one death related to the virus, which brings the total to 183.
The Northampton County Health Department reported last week there were 4,326 total positive cases of which 4,246 have recovered. There were three active cases.
There have been 77 related deaths.
